Deposit Limits.

About Deposit Limits

A deposit limit caps the total amount you can deposit into your robwaterhause account during a defined period. It is designed to help you control your spending by preventing deposits beyond your chosen threshold. Setting a deposit limit is highly recommended as part of active account control and responsible gambling practice.

What Counts as a Deposit

All incoming payments you initiate into your robwaterhause account are aggregated toward your active deposit limit, regardless of the payment method used.

  • All accepted payment methods (debit card, bank transfer, etc.) are combined under a single limit.
  • Winnings credited to your balance are not counted as deposits.
  • Refunds or administrative adjustments are not treated as deposits.

When No Limit Is Required

While setting a deposit limit is entirely voluntary, we encourage all customers to establish a threshold from their very first session. Once your chosen limit is reached, further deposits are automatically blocked until the active period resets. Any existing funds in your account remain fully available for wagering or withdrawal.

Limit Periods

When setting a deposit limit, you choose one of the following defined tracking periods:

  • Daily: Resets automatically at midnight (AEST) each day.
  • Weekly: Resets at midnight on Monday each week.
  • Monthly: Resets on the first day of each calendar month.

Changing Your Limit

You can set, adjust or remove your deposit limit at any time through the My Account section of robwaterhause.

  • Decreasing a Limit: Takes effect immediately to protect your profile without delay.
  • Increasing a Limit: Subject to a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period before the new, higher threshold applies.
  • Removing a Limit: Treated the same as an increase — subject to a strict 7-day cooling-off period.

Notifications & History

robwaterhause will send you in-app notifications and email alerts as you approach your deposit limit, helping you stay fully aware of your remaining capacity within the active period. All previous limit changes are stored in your account history tab for full transparency.

Deposit Limits & Your Activity

We encourage you to periodically review your deposit limit alongside your overall wagering activity. Assessing whether your limit still reflects your financial circumstances helps ensure it remains an effective safety tool.

Deposit Limits and Betting

A deposit limit set on robwaterhause applies strictly to your robwaterhause account. It does not automatically limit or block accounts you hold with other wagering providers. For broader protection, see our National Self-Exclusion options.

If a Deposit Limit Is Not Enough

If you feel you need stronger restrictions than a deposit limit provides, we offer comprehensive self-exclusion and pause tools on our Responsible Gambling panel. You can also register directly with BetStop.

Important Information

Customers who have not set a deposit limit may periodically be prompted to consider setting one. Deposit limits operate under applicable Australian wagering regulatory requirements. If you need assistance with your deposit limit or any account settings, contact robwaterhause Support.

Account control

Set your deposit limit

Choose a cap and a period. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately; raising it takes effect after a 7-day cooling-off period, and you can cancel a pending increase at any time.
